Ken has an MA in Clinical Counseling from Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis, MN. Ken is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alaska and holds a National Master in Addiction Counseling Certification. Ken is certified using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Diodatic Behavioral Therapy. Ken also uses play therapy and art therapy as part of a person-centered and trauma-informed counseling approach. Ken has been a resident of Alaska since 1995 and is originally from North Carolina. He has over a decade of experience and serves in several community roles that help provide support, mentorship, and direction to Alaska’s youth.
