Stefanie has 8 years of experience providing mental health therapy with a focus on child and adolescent counseling. She has graduated from Messiah University, has obtained her Licensed Professional Counselor’s license, and has become a board-approved supervisor. She was born in Tampa, FL where she was immersed in her Spanish culture until she married into the military. Stefanie has been a military wife for 17 years and has been stationed in 4 different states and in South Korea. When she is not working with clients, Stefanie enjoys spending time in nature hiking or cuddling up on the couch with a good book.

She specializes in treating children and teens with autism spectrum difficulties, ODD, Trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play therapy. She uses a client-centered approach that integrates CBT and play therapy for her client of all ages. She believes in keeping therapy fun and inviting for the client while allowing them space to process their emotions. She focuses on developing adaptive coping strategies with her clients and helping them form healthy relationships. She enjoys using expressive therapeutic modalities like art therapy to illicit non-verbal communication of emotions. She is committed to creating a safe, fun therapeutic experience that focuses on healing and healthier family relationships.
